Tell Your Story

Online

1. Record a short youtube video in response to the “We Are Jose” video

  • Show your support for Jose, expressing that he is just as Canadian as any one of us.
  • Follow the format of the “We Are Jose” video. Look straight into the camera and say “I am a (social role) from (city), (province), and I am Jose.”
  • Feel free to say more about why you support Jose, or relate your own personal story of how you came to Canada
  • (One supporter had stated: “If Jose is being deported for standing up for human rights against a violent government, that would be like my grandfather being deported for speaking up against the Nazis.”)
  • Upload it to youtube in your account as a response to the “We Are Jose” video
  • Send your video to us, your friends and family over facebook, twitter, or email to spread the story. Also send it to Ministers Jason Kenney and Vic Toews, and your MP.
  • Let’s show the government and the country the number of Canadians who want to keep Jose and his family here in Canada!
